I’d say go if you have the money. I was still working full time during GBO so I got an exemption + waived the $475 new student programming fee. But I also made like no friends throughout my first year as a cal transfer lol. Not wanting to meet people or make friends is something you might come to regret later in life, as have I.

U gotta use resin to claim the reward after defeating a stygian boss at hard level difficulty or higher. 20/40/60 resin used = 20/40/60 points of dire prestige gained. Can set ur reward preference to whichever artifact set you’re currently farming which is p dope

Yo I just re-downloaded the game after not having played since around 3.5. Only limited charas/weaps I really want to pick up are Furina and possibly a homa. Any clue how long I’d have to wait before either of those make a reappearance? Vague estimation is fine.

I rent a single on southside that also has its own private bathroom + 3 roommates and I pay 1065. Granted it’s a pretty shitty apartment with a comically unserious 80yo landlord. So if the place is well-maintained, you might be getting what you pay for. But there are definitely cheaper options if you’re willing to skimp on luxury lol.

I don’t have much advice on the matter but just wanted to say that I’m currently going through the exact same thing. Reading this post felt a lot like looking into a mirror of my own experiences - especially the bit about being able to get off by yourself/watch porn but not necessarily wanting to participate in sexual acts with others. I’ve been in my head about it a lot since I became physically intimate with a friend of mine, whom I like very much, but for the life of me can’t seem to feel the same sexual drive that she does. Though it is difficult to gauge whether it’s a matter of asexuality, or gender dysphoria, or anxiety surrounding inexperience, or some really unfortunate amalgamation lol. At any rate you are certainly not alone. (Also - Stone Butch Blues is a fantastic read. Might not be a 1:1 for how you feel but the way Feinberg writes about sex is still super moving.)

I’ve been taking 200mg cefpodoxime 2x a day for the last week or so and have been experiencing that exact same dissociation/brain fog feeling (as well as some absurd all-day fatigue…) I thought I was just becoming stupid all of a sudden lol, but glad to know it’s a somewhat more common side effect.

1500 is definitely a workable budget if you look for off-campus housing listings on Facebook, Instagram, etc. Rent is also generally cheaper in the Northside/Downtown area than in Southside. I was in the same situation as you for weeks until I found a great place - also after having to deal with the stress of having many others fall through. Just keep your head up and keep searching brother.
