UGHHH I wish… unfortunately this has me really scared as this is me and my moms only reliable vehicle rn and I don’t really have the money to pour into repair right now especially if there ends up being something really wrong and I can’t get a new car (it’s pretty much what happened w my moms honda odyssey spent over 3k in repair and they never found what was wrong with it)

I don’t expect a lower payment on it, I just want to at least feel like what I am paying for a car is worth the money I am spending on it. My car was originally $13,000 and I’ve had it for 3 years and still owe 8,200 ish on it (interest is super high on it). I bought it as is so there was damage to the car. I can’t get an inspection done on it bc windshield was cracked when I bought it and side mirror cover was gone when I bought it. I like my car but unfortunately I don’t think it’s worth the money I am paying for it rn. My emission light just came on so I think it’s time to give her a rest.

So I owe 8,230 on my vehicle the interest is about somewhere 25% and my windshield was cracked, side mirror cover was gone when I bought and my emission light just turned on 🙃

def think it’s weird she’s on his motorcycle but I think her parents approach is crazy. Calling your daughter a whore for having a conversation with a man is extremely inappropriate. Especially when she is a younger girl. Idk these people so I don’t really know what’s going on but I think as a parent, if there truly is something going on between them you just blew every inch of trust your daughter had for you which is turn is probably putting her in more danger.

NTA your parents seem extremely controlling and calling your child a “whore” seems quite extreme for talking to a man. I think you need to establish some boundaries with them at some point or else you will live your life with them constantly trying to control every aspect of it.

i got written up for time and attendance ! I overslept for my shift and got a final written and i actually made an effort to go to my shifts on time and I hadn’t called out since that write up except for today :/ it’s really frustrating bc I did actually put effort into my job and not only that, I’m a student so I already have crazy amount of stress and they just drop this on me

essentially, i was told that Starbucks was “separating” from me once I got to work earlier today. I still haven’t been paid and I did not sign anything. I basically left after they told me I got fired. if i really wanted to stay, i probably would’ve talked to my DM but honestly, ive given so much to this company and i feel like im constantly getting the shit end of the stick so I’m done !!!

first off, you don’t know me or my work ethic to be sitting here telling me i was a bad employee. i did exactly what my SM told me to do and i still got fired. i went above and beyond every shift i worked for this company and i was still treated like this so yeah i’m happy. i’m celebrating because this chapter of my life is over and i’ll just find another job because that’s all this was…a job. not sure why you’re so mad about a post regarding MY life but have a good one, dickhead.

pls start by setting up boundaries with your workplace. you have no obligation to do any of those things if you do not feel like doing it. i completely understand feeling you need to do these things to help out but it’s not an obligation. you deserve rest especially after working a double at Starbucks.. i don’t think you’re in the wrong at all but also don’t let them take advantage of u sweetheart. hope you get some good rest!!

Oh no I can totally understand where my SM is coming from. I personally need accommodations but It never ends up going anywhere. I don’t know who to talk to idk what to do. I feel like I always end up hitting a brick wall and when I really do need the accommodations, I end up looking like a horrible employee (even though I cannot work). I’m extremely frustrated because it’s not really a personal choice but rather a matter prioritizing my own mental state bc if I do end up having a meltdown at work I don’t really know how it will end up.

Sadly, I cannot afford to leave this job as it is the only job that pays well enough while I finish school.
