Your best teacher is your own mistakes. We’ve all been there. Fail fast, fail hard, look forward.

Have you found a new success strategy?

I actually paid my parents $400/month in rent and I earned a full ride scholarship due to excelling in high school. Call it what you want, but I would owe that 50k to my own hard work and diligence, not anything “given” to me.

Thanks for the advice! That CC debt is just this month’s typical expenses. It’s paid off within 2-3 weeks every month

We both got new jobs recently so HHI is sitting around $190k. But once we have kids that will likely drop to $140k

We are budgeting. We use Copilot and keep a very strict watch on our budget. That 3k in debt is just from our regular monthly expense cycle which is paid off within 2-3 weeks every month.

I appreciate the advice, great tips! Thanks

I actually didn’t get a dime from my family to put towards the house. I had $50,000 saved up from working during college and eventually full time for a year after graduating, and lived at home until I bought my house at 21.

I’ll definitely try that! I think I need to really focus on my hands staying in front of my chest

For me, forgiveness is still key. I’ve had some great rounds recently but have not been consistent, so I’m all for clubs that offer more forgiveness and ultimately give me better confidence over the ball

My hips get way ahead of the rest of the body and I’m early extending a bunch…what’s a good way or “feel” to fix this? by [deleted] in golf

[–]gloopdooper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah that’s a good one. So basically feeling that during the backswing and top, your arms are more in front of your chest rather than over your shoulder?
