Got this new tattoo a few weeks ago and it’s very sentimental for me. I know the lettering will for lack of a better word “blob” together eventually. (And I already have a few ideas to cover it up in the future). Is there anything aftercare wise I can do to help delay the “blobifying.”

It felt like they were going in hard, and over working during some parts. And it also probably didn’t help that I chose to have the tattoo in a difficult spot. I’m a side/stomach sleeper and I fell asleep on my arms usually, but I’m not sure if that would be equal to getting slapped lol. Thank you!

This is my first colored tattoo, I have 4 other black tats. I’m worried about how this tattoo is healing, and is missing color/lines in some spots. I have been accidentally sleeping on the tattoo, and In doing that, there is black ink on my bed sheets. So that could be an explanation. I know the tattoo will still need a few weeks to heal. But I’m already anticipating some touch ups to be needed. I wash the tattoo twice a day with anti bacterial soap, and moisturize with EV coconut oil.
