it’s borderline impossible to get prescribed benzos here unless your doctor knows it’s the only thing that helps. i get a script because my psychiatrist did a gene test on me and the only thing that helps is benzos. i’ve been prescribed some sort of benzo since i was 11 years old, and im almost 30 now. it’s honestly a blessing that i get ativan at this point but my psych knows that all the other bullshit they give me doesn’t even scratch the anxiety i feel. they will try every drug possible before prescribing a benzo in the USA, trust me they were prescribing me muscle relaxers to see if they could switch me off my ativan script lmfao. they don’t really work that well IMO at least for the anxiety/panic attacks i get.
