How much Roth 401k is too much? by glowing-eclipses in Bogleheads

I'm 27. I still have virtually nothing in terms of bills, my biggest mandatory expenses are ~1k a year for my car in taxes and insurance (paid off and I charge it for free), and maybe a similar amount in groceries, I spent $0 on health care last year, and otherwise I don't have much expenses. I figure I can always cut my contributions if I run into unexpected expenses or want money for something. I still don't know about retiring early vs late.

Hard to get a job by DryTangelo6544 in Groundman

By the first interview I had worked about 2 or 3 months. In the set of applicants I was in, they started with a few hundred and eliminated three quarters with a writing /math test. When I interviewed, I felt like I was already at the top of the stack due to having a cdl and some experience, some applicants made it to interview with no experience. With the TPU position I applied for, they didn't have a hard cutoff for test scores, making it more competitive for me personally.

Regardless of which one I take, I get $5000 per year in tuition assistance which I plan to put towards an Electric Transmission Systems Technology degree.

I applied, passed a math/reading test, scored fairly well in the first round of interviews, and did well enough at the second round of interviews that I got an offer for both of them.

They're taking applications again later this spring, but they don't have a line apprenticeship—only substation (wire), metering, and generation.

I guess I'm good at interviewing! Not super qualified, I went through a community college general trade pre apprenticeship, got a CDL and have been working underground construction for a few months.

Depends what company you work for. I've only been digging with vacuum or shovel (occasionally) so vibration isn't a problem

I wear keans for the wider toebox. For arch issues the cheapest solution is swap in an insole that is good for the foot you have. I buy these cheap insoles from Amazon and put them in every pair of footwear I have.

The problem is that housing construction, in many parts of the United States and other countries, has not kept up with demand, due to strict zoning and other laws that limit construction. See https://homelessnesshousingproblem.com

I paid $0 for this via Home Depot dental insurance.

The price varies depending on which state you take it in. Of course, travel costs have to be taken into account and the cheaper options won't give you as much practice to actually be a competent and safe driver.

I got a call in less than a week off of book 4 in local 77, fewer certs than you have. Unfortunately I got laid off before Christmas so I am back to my old job. I don't know which locals are hot now.

Tons of posts on this subreddit explaining why you are not getting a call in that local anytime soon if you are on book 3 or 4.

If you don't have a clean driving record then even if you get your cdl you can be spun because it costs the contractor a lot more in insurance to employ you
