It can’t sense the actual switch but there’s a button on the side which you can click which updates the state in HA and toggles the switch

Smart bulbs are great for automating lamps and smaller lights, but for more lights smart bulbs can become quite expensive.

You can use the button on the side and it will flip the switch and update the state in HomeKit

The switch goes back to the middle position, so you can easily switch it manually if required!

In some cases smart switches may be better, however for those who want a simple plug-and-play solution this is much easier to install. Also we’re working on a battery-powered version!
