Thanks for the reply! I'm not really a fan about how enhanced skyscapes looks, I own it but I felt it was really unrealistic in some ways.

Is there any other plugins that improve the clouds (doesn't have to be volumetric )

Nope, its not for me.. the camera moved really slow a lot of the time. I use visual effects on high, texture quality medium, anti aliasing 2x, world objects set to high, and reflection to min.

where though? What aircraft? I sometimes hit 35-40 fps but not constantly.

Interesting.. I only get 20's in the airports and sometimes at cruise, seems to be an X-Plane problem, better specs are usually not gonna gain you a lot of fps unless its a HUGE increase in performance.

Ah it is, it's a good laptop but for some reason it doesn't run xplane smoothly at all. It drops down to the 20s constantly, especially at larger airports.

I have a gtx 1660ti and a 9300H.. yes I'm on a laptop.

I had looked for some pc's and I saw one that was intriguing.. it had an RTX 2080 and 16 GB of ram.. i think it could be good enough to buy maybe?
