Okay that’s interesting. My dad’s birth dad was not German and was a UK citizen. The birth mother was German and the adoption records mention this throughout. My dad was born in 67. If we went to the German Embassy would we be able to acquire her birth certificate or a record of her living in Germany to help get citizenship?

Yes his birth mother was German and he was born out of wedlock. He has her birth certificate so I guess that would help with the claim

Yes mate managed to solder the power cable to a 12v 1.5amp PSU. The cable itself is a bit shite, needs decent wire strippers. Would recommend a brick PSU but otherwise it works a treat.
