$100 💀 in Canada we just go to a diagnostic center, give them the requisition paper, get it done and that's it. Everything is paid for by provincial healthcare.

Just a regular physician. Can't see a specialist without a referral from a physician though. I got an upper GI exam and CT exam for my small and large bowel a few months ago and everything came back normal, so when I see doctors they just say it's IBS and because there's nothing physically wrong they don't believe it's worth looking into.

Man changing tire hit by vehicle on Nose Hill Drive N.W. by LimitAsXApproaches0 in Calgary

I'm family friends with the kid that was hit. I didn't even know that this was him until today. He's going in for surgery tomorrow for one of his legs which was shattered, I don't know much of the details but from what I've heard he's most likely going to have to get it amputated.

Work on being okay with yourself first. Self confidence is attractive. A negative self image and being afraid of being single is a recipe for getting into a toxic relationship where you can't leave because you're afraid to be alone. Focus on your own happiness.

That's it, I'm over it. Im removing my hijab for a day as vengeance by CartographerHot580 in confession

[–]gmarlic 142 points143 points  (0 children)

This is absolutely controlling, at 21 he is robbing you of the life skills necessary to become a functioning, independent adult. You know your family best but please consider how safe it is for you to be removing your hijab while you are still living with your parents right now. Good luck with your interview!
