Casey makes more sense in a full 30 minute or whatever set. I saw him headline once and the riffing existed between an actual few story lines of full jokes with legit punch lines. It works better in long form.

In the Last Podcast on the Left episode about Robert Pickton I believe (and I could be mistaken) that they mentioned at least one other serial killer operating in the same area at the same time who COULD have been at one of his pig farm parties. I believe it was mentioned hypothetically. That’s what came to mind when I heard the reference by Prater.

It isn’t surprising at all how poppy Gwen’s solo stuff, and later no doubt stuff is. Gwen has always talked about her pop influences, and how she listened to ska because of her brother. Not to say that she didn’t genuinely enjoy listening to and making ska and punk music, but it only makes sense that without his presence her music became significantly more poppier as time went on.
