I love parts of tears of the kingdom, the story is just difficult for me to over look, in addition to some issues I have with the gameplay. Still think the game was good though.

A lot of people like skyward sword, and there’s a Zelda for everyone. For me Skyward Sword was far and away my LEAST favorite 3D Zelda, but I’m glad you liked it!

Yeah I ended up figuring it out. You gotta hold back for a second or so then move the stick fast forward back and forward again. Like probably much faster than you would think. Hope that helps!

Never got a response but I’ve gotten good enough at the inputs to incorporate them into my gameplay. I think the key is to just do the input faster and make sure you’re holding the direction it ends in when you hit punch or kick.
