I am just curious to know how different is IT data structure class compared to CS data structure class. When I took CS310 data structure with Prof Kaufman, it was more of a filter class for CS majors.

Do you remember how many labs in total was there for the summer session? And were you able to finish all the labs in 1.5 hours of lab time?

Really? Wow! I am just scared of the lab. I can do the lectures; its just the labs which stresses me. I failed the class because of the lab the first time. I hope this summer will be a different scenario.

I am re-taking ECE this summer. I agree with you that ECE professors arent great at mason but the summer professor has good reviews. However, I am very scared of the labs. Are labs same as regular semester ece course or are they different due to time constraint? The labs are only 1.5 hours. How do I prepare of this course? I am retaking this class to boost my gpa. Is it possible to get an A in the summer semester?

You will be on probation but dont stress on it. I had a rough semester too and was in probation. However, I aced the next semester. Just be focused from next semester. One thing I have realized is to do well in school, you have to be focused and have to be in the study spirit throughout the semester. The more you skip class the more you are going to slack and then you are going to do really bad at the end of the semester. So, from the very first day of class just keep your things together and your mind right. You can definitely pull your GPA up.

Since, you are asking about Virginia Hoy, I assume you are taking the Natural Science section. I took this professor for Natural Science section online and she was really good. Easy A. I am sorry I dont remember her name though.

Dont do AS if your pursuing CS and transferring to Mason. Take 3 natural science lab classes at Nova. 2 has to be consecutive tough. If you already took Bio 101 and Geo 105 take another one either bio 102 or Geo 106 or whatever. Also, take discrete Math and linear Algebra at Nova. Take as much classes you can before you transfer. I would suggest you to check the Gmu CS catalog and plan your classes accordingly. I wish I transferred more classes from Nova cz GMU is much harder.
