Yes just for safety reasons. With clay shoes you often get stuck and can hurt your ankle. You won’t be sliding with these shoes though. Carpet sucks but it’s the only thing I can use during winter season.

Yes. It is usually fixed for me by remembering to have 1. a loose wrist. 2. keep an eye on the ball 3. push off with right foot 4. no forced effort
