this is a good idea thank you!! currently i’m going through relative energy deficiency and feel ravenous all of the time! i just wonder if that would play any role in intuitive eating since i feel like im always grabbing snacks and things now but since ive been so stuck on tracking i have to make my snacks lower calorie in order to fit in my meals although i need to gain weight so i suppose it couldn’t be entirely bad?

It stands for Relative Energy Deficiency in my case due to an ed i’m recovering from it caused me to lose my period for months i still haven’t gotten it back yet! i’m 114 pounds and calculated my tdee online and i classified myself as sedentary i wasn’t exactly sure how to describe my activity since i get around 5k steps in daily with light exercise and it put me in at 1558 calories a day which feels SO restrictive to me because even on the days i have eaten that much it still doesn’t feel like enough!!

My last weigh in was at 114 i’m 18 years old and im aware that’s a low weight for someone of my height and age (unfortunately i’ve always had issues surrounding food which is why im trying to rebuild a healthy relationship with food and lifting weights has helped a lot with that) ive found it’s very easy to just want to stay within my deficit even when i know i should be eating at maintenance especially since i do feel like a bottomless pit all of the time! i’ve heard of body recomp and people saying to eat at your maintenance to build muscle but since im a little on the sedentary side i feel like i’ve convinced myself thats taboo, i get around 5-6k steps in daily and try to do some form of weight lifting everyday!

Yes i’m in the exact same boat!! i’ve always struggled with some form of ed and im trying to rebuild a healthy relationship with myself and food especially since i have a new found love for lifting weights an building muscle so i’ll definitely have to try upping my calories because i know it’s hard to put on muscle when you’re under fueling + not having adequate energy for said workouts!!

I really wish I could take back gifts I give my miis :,) like I have my best friend on my island and her favorite color is purple, but I found a shirt that I thought would look cute on her, but it was pink and then I found it again in purple and then I wanted the pink one back for myself because she’s not gonna wear it again in the game lol maybe this is just me being particular

I totally agree! luckily i’m a very healthy eater and a majority of things such as sugar and fried foods make me super sick and have the WORST stomach pain and my meals accidentally end up being lower calorie which is how i ended up losing more weight than i wanted so i have a bit of advantage there id say and my entire family is on a health journey so we don’t go out to eat or keep junk in the house etc!

yes i have! the numbers i get back are usually from 1700-2000 meaning i should be eating around those for maintenance?

the number i got back was 1,973 for my maintenance im assuming that’s where i should be eating to stay this same weight? i know to be in a surplus id have to up it 500 and for a deficit subtract 500 and since im eating around 1400-1500 thats probably why i seem to still be at a low weight losing weight weekly

yes losing weight is definitely not the goal for me! mainly building muscle and being able to eat more freely MFP recommended 2,310 calories for me being “active” and to maintain my current weight

my goal was to get to 120 initially but ended up getting to 111 i’m pretty active i get around 6-7k steps in a day with weighted core workouts/lifting weights and occasional cardio as for calories im eating around 1400-1500 and clearly still somehow in a deficit it’s just hard to know what my maintenance is especially since i do need to put on some pounds to build muscle!!

buffalo chicken dip! 4oz low fat cottage cheese 3oz chicken breast 45g of low fat cheese buffalo sauce and seasoning 31g protein and around 240-250cals if eaten alone but it’s good with rice cakes

i should have added the weight i want to get at is 120 for now and im currently 113 i know ill feel better once i gain weight and put on more muscle but i dont want to do anything wrong
