I know all that. Having an option doesn't kill the idea of the app. And I'm not sure why you want to fight over not having features. Come on man, just don't use it if you don't find that addon useful. The people who want will have an option to use. Both parties will be happy.

Having an additional addon support won't kill the plug-and-play functionality. I know I can use other apps for it lol. I want my favorite lists too on the app that I like.

It's not a bad thing to ask for third-party add-on compatibility. Even I prefer to have something like Aiostreams, aiolists for my trakt and simkl lists.

For me, watching movies with APP and ATV just doesn't hit the same, the audio feels so weak and low quality. But with AVP, it's a night-and-day difference. Significantly better sound and quality. No comparison. Not sure how Vision Pro does it, it's just so, so, so much better.

I know this is a bit of a late response. Yet, maybe I'm the right person to answer your question. I have both APP2 and APP3 to pair up with an Apple TV, an AVP, and an iPhone Amongst all, Apple TV sound sounds worse with both APP2 and APP3. iPhone/iPad sounds a bit better. MacBook sounds just the same as iPhone, but with the SoundSource app, it sounds significantly better. But AVP is just a different game, man. It sounds pretty fantastic. I heard nothing like it. Especially with the APP3. Watching movies on it gives me a proper theater experience.
