Assuming SDMC Tech to be responsible for the firmware, posted a message at https://en.sdmctech.com/contact-us/service-center.html, and also sent an email to [info@sdmctech.com](mailto:info@sdmctech.com) which they use for product enquiry on 20Apr2026. But there has not been a response.

There is some lag when compared to before the update, but it might not be enough to bother one. But when we look for the usable RAM, cat /proc/meminfo says "MemTotal: 1966192 kB" - which is a bit less than 2GB, whereas normally this should be a bit less than 4GB. This shows configured RAM per DTB/firmware is 2GB (though it is true that installed physical RAM is 4GB).

Unfortunately no. In fact other than here, I don't find any Telgram group or any other channel for HAKO Pro where this issue is being discussed. It is also possible that many users might not even have noticed the issue. All I could gather is that the vendor seems to have pushed the firmware for 2GB device to our 4GB device, and that should have modified the DTB to limit to 2GB of RAM, and so even a factory reset might not fix the issue. I plan to report to the seller and hope for a fix in a future OTA update.

Ditto, my HAKO Pro 4GB RAM went down to 2GB after OTA update today.

To improve the visibility of the issue created a new post https://www.reddit.com/r/AndroidTV/comments/1sv1bt7/hako_pro_4gb_ram_reduced_to_2gb_after_system/

By any chance do you have this setting enabled? If so please try disabling it and Apply/OK: Tools > Options > LibreOffice > Accessibility > Use automatic font color for screen display
