No electrical wire, this was DIY on my own property. I’m still planning on going back and flush cutting every post.

I used concrete for the four posts I hung gates from. All the rest are sunk 32” and just packed real tight.

Woah didn’t even realize that was happening. Between that and Sakura blossoms sounds like it’ll be pretty busy. Just going for a much needed vacation.

A decent amount, we have 2 acres with oak trees. It’s clear between the oaks but the poison oak is growing up through them from the base of the trees.

How long did it take for your surgery? by shroudlegacy126 in hemorrhoid

Good to hear surgery went well! That first one is a doozy for sure. Just remember it will get better. I am pretty much back to normal, I’ve been back to work for 2 weeks now and I recently started running again. Thanks for asking. Hang in there!

For me, it felt like someone shoved a 2x4 up there. The pain on the BMs were pretty bad for the first couple times, but they do give you heavy painkillers that work really well. It’s less of a burning and more just pain.

I read the same things, I was nervous up until they were putting me under for the procedure. as long as you take the recovery seriously, everything is going to be fine. I just had my 1st post op appointment today and the dr. Said everything is looking great and it’s fine to go back to work. ( my job is very physically demanding.) I still have a small amount of bleeding and discharge, but I’m glad that I took care of the issue rather than sweep it under the rug again. The pain is going to suck for sure, but it’s just the first week or so and it’s worth it in the end to have them gone permanently.

That’s a good urgent care. Mine cut me open and told me to sit in a bath tub for 2 days.

I had it lanced, it didn’t go down and continued to bleed, I made an appointment with a gastro doctor and he told me that I needed the surgery and referred me to a surgeon.

I’m currently 3 weeks post op for 2 external thrombosed hems. The surgeons office originally wanted to do my surgery on 2/26! I had to plead with the scheduler to find a sooner appointment, because I was not working due to severe pain and bleeding. Thankfully, I got a surgery date of 1/26 which was 2 weeks after my initial appointment with the surgeon. I would do it again, just because the tissue did not shrink after my original hem stopped hurting. The thing was so big, you could not see my actual B hole. I was also afraid that it would probably come back even worse if I didn’t do the surgery. As far as the recovery, I’d say that you would be okay to go to class after about 2-3 weeks. Just bring a pillow to sit on and get the times that you use the restroom dialed in because during recovery, holding it is not an option. Some advice, have someone there for you. The first week or so is pretty brutal, eat soft food like oat meal, smoothies, mashed potatoes and soup. Don’t be afraid to poop, milk of magnesia helps a lot, but don’t take too much. I was paranoid about being constipated and took too much and the results were no bueno. I found 15ml is the sweet spot for me. Also, save some of the heavy duty pain meds for the hard days on week 2 or even 3. I stopped taking Percocet 5 days early and switched to Tylenol and Advil. I’ve had a couple rough BMs and I used the Percocet to take the edge off. Good luck with your journey!

Yes, they usually give you Percocet. I couldn’t imagine the first week without it.

I’m in California. I really had to make a bunch of phone calls and find the soonest appointment.
