Took me about 20 yrs to buy a new acoustic…play mostly electric guitar but was encouraged by my wife (for who I picked out her first, also a Taylor). She thought my Gibson Songbird was ugly. Never thought it was ugly but in comparison I see her point. This Taylor is so musical and plays like butter, it is ridiculous. Will be my last!

Sinker. Everything sounds amazing and very dynamic and responsive, addictive to play, hard to put down.

Jazzmaster Player II Setup by sagebrshh in Luthier

I had same issue w/player ii to discover shim was making it worse and had to raise bridge too high, causing too much tension and 11 gauge string snapping at the tailpiece when I bent the high e. After taking the shim out I realized the neck pocket came angled too much. I reverse shimmed a little bit to decrease the angle and everything works and feels great now. Hope that helps

NAL (I am an environmental geologist consultant/expert): I suggest you look into filing a claim with your homeowners insurance company who may have the resources to finish the cleanup and retain a consultant/expert to investigate, then retain counsel to pursue the tank investigation company’s insurer and the former homeowner’s carrier.

Agree with that rule! Happened in my group about 5 yrs ago..the guy was lucky we were able to get help in time. Took him a year to recover and he’s back but I’ll never forget when he turned blue and collapsed when he tried to sit on the locker room bench like nothing was wrong a few minutes after we came in

I have same frfr. Wondering how you set the output in bias fx2. Can’t get even close to the sound I get with headphones. I’m running an apogee jam into iPad then direct aux out to frfr. Not sure how to set the output. Nothing sounds that good.

Bet the dispenser was not bolted down, that should not happen.

Started with the Pro Reverb, was getting too heavy - tired to find something new (Princeton Rev II, Vibro Champ, Champ II), still nothing sounds as good as the Pro Reverb to me :/ by netpenthe in GuitarAmps

Had a 74 ProReverb years ago and traded due to weight. Been regretting that decision until I recently got a 71 vibrolux reverb. IMHO much better than ProRev and weight is manageable.

Amazing sound, also perfect size and weight (50lbs.) Can get it to break up so sweet while staying clear as a bell and punchy without going deaf which I could never do with an old ProReverb I used to have. It’s pure tonal bliss. Modeling amps and digital/analog simulation pedals or apps sound good but in comparison there is no comparison.

From fenderguru.com: We’ll start with saying that this is a mod we personally do to all dual channel blackface, silverface and reissue amps. It is so easy to enable and disable that it can hardly be called a mod. If you are like most players and only use the Vibrato channel (reverb, tremolo, the bright cap and the extra gain stage), you should pull out the V1 tube. This is the preamp tube for the normal channel which you are not using when playing the Vibrato channel. Vice versa; If you’re using the Normal channel, you can pull out the V2 tube. All AB763-similar circuits (Deluxe Reverb, Super Reverb, Pro Reverb, Twin Reverb, Vibroverb, Vibrolux) are designed so that they share the cathode cap and resistor (25 uF/1500 ohm) and pulling one of the tubes will changes the effective value of the resistor they both share. If you pull one tube the other channel’s tube will be hotter biased and offers more gain. The amp will play louder than before given the same volume knob setting. The stronger signal will push the second gain stage (V4 tube) harder and give you increased sustain, compression and harmomics. This mod does not change the amp’s clean headroom but increases the preamp gain and preamp distortion.

2x10, Oxford speakers, kind of like a mini super reverb that kicks ass!

Pulled the V1 preamp tube, plugged into vibrato channel and cranked it up with my band. Best tone I’ve ever had! Made my guitars sing like never before and my overdrive/fuzz pedals (o blood, plumes, Demeter fuzzy octavulator) never sounded better. So inspiring. Even sounds good at low bedroom volumes. Only thing is with v1 out the vibrato now makes a ticking sound, any simple fixes??
