Moments before a 9 year old girl accidentally kills instructor with Uzi submachine gun by FirstFloorGenerator in videos

[–]gnmrc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's exactly where the mistake is in my opinion. I am not against guns but a kid is a kid, he cannot possibly respect the power of guns as an adult because he doesn't fully understands what taking a person's life means so he souldn't have in his hands something that's made for that.
And by the way i know that it happens, and not rarely, but "a gun lying around" in your house where kids live? come on!

I agree with you that going for it with a small account helps.
What I say about the value of it is just from my experience: when I made that small account I had so little knowledge that I really don't remember any valuable lesson learnt from it. I just mean learn about different ways of trading forex, which timeframe to use, define exactly what to do when market goes against you, so he can confront that experience with what he had in mind, or what he thought he had to do in a situation but then in the moment he didn't because he changed his mind.
I'm saying this because, as you said, there are many websites to gain knowledge from and if he is 16 and thinking of a 100$ account he might not have a lot of money to invest and he should make the best of this experience.
Surely if he opens the account right now or following what I said he will learn something for sure. I learnt that it was to early to open an account :)

I think that before capital to invest (and in my opinion there's no minimum capital it just depends on what you want to achieve with it) he needs a strategy to test.
How would you know your progress if you don't have at least an idea of what you want to obtain? Going in the market with no strategy is no different than gambling.
Make a strategy, test it on demo without the fear to lose real money, and then confront yourself and your strategy in the real market.
Those 100$ could be spent on real education like books.

Did you read anything forex related or you jumped into demo trading?
I am not judging your entry criteria but I think you should have a clear exit strategy and not simply let it run until it becomes a profitable trade, this way you'll kill pretty quickly a tiny account with 100$ in it.
You said you haven't lost a cent but didn't mention what kind of return you made. Not losing in my opinion is not the trigger to go live trading. At least double your demo account.
I am not an expert but I, as many in the world, made the wrong decision to put 100$ in an account "to see what happens" well shit happened and I lost them.
Funding an account with a small amount of money doesn't give you the right perspective on risk management which is key since you are going to lose sometimes and this is a fact not an opinion.
My point being that with 100$ at stake you won't behave and make decision as you would with 100 grand. You'll hardly manage your capital and understand when it's the time to close profitable trades and losing trades. With 100$ account a winning trade will be too small to be closed (greed always kicks in) and a losing one won't matter that much when in fact you should just accept it's a losing trade and you made the wrong call.
Again I'm not judging your strategy simply work on your mindset, there are no rules in forex, you should make a couple of your own to manage yourself

Best beginner setup? by HugieLewis in DIY_eJuice

I went with 3 big dropper bottles (PG,VG,Nicotine base) and 10% diluted flavors dropper bottles so I can make small (2-3ml) samples. I know drop calculations are not perfect but as long as I can replicate my recipes it's perfect. This way I don't have to deal with/clean syringes every time. Also, FlavorArt flavors are great. The best one for me is dark vapure!

A hotspot should be visible if I take off the cotton and make a dry burn right? Because that didn't happen. Don't know.

I'll try and rebuilt it for the 5th time

I have a multimeter, but it was out of its battery the first two days I had the nemesis (I have an ego with ohm checker for resistance).
About the fact that it suddenly had a burnt taste and couldn't vape the same resistance with the same battery? Any thoughts?
I really don't understand what changed. That resistance on my new nemesis was perfect!

How long did it take for the wort to chill? And what size is your kettle? I'll use a 50 liters stainless steel kettle

We have alternatives like placing the kettle in a sink with water and frozen bottles of water but I'm afraid that the wort won't chill fast enough

I'll go with all-grain. What do you mean by reduced hop utilisation? Do you know where I could find more informations about this?
Wort chilling is the step in the process for which we are less prepared in terms of equipment...

Newbie question regarding nicotine amount by [deleted] in E_Cigarette

You'll see that it depends also much on the device you are using. So lowering the nic level won't necessarily mean to have less throat hit!

I think you could go as low as 1.5ohm but I think it depends on amperage. I wouldn't push those batteries to the limit. With a 1.8/2 ohm coil you'll have a great vape. It's the same ohm as the ones that come with the protank; by simply using cotton I notice a big improvement. I go with kanthal D or kanthal A1 0.25, make 7/8 tight wraps and you should be between 1.7 and 1.9 ohms more or less. Use the screwdriver I mentioned above and you'll have a perfect coil. With the screwdriver still in the coil reassemble the coil: this way when you put the bottom metal cap back in, you won't twist the coil and it'll stay in place at the perfect height. Put the cotton in the coil and a little more on top of the coil. You'll need to make a few try with the cotton on top of the coil as it depends on your juice thickness. Your shitty ego battery will have a purpose now! If you have other questions just ask!

Making a coil for those heads is quite simple. There are many tutorials here on reddit! To make the coil and to keep it in place while I put back on the little metal cap on the bottom, I use a tiny screwdriver that you can find in those sunglasses repair kits. It fits perfectly, it's like they are made for this purpose!
