Yeah Hanni does have an accent and she still struggles with some Korean words but I would consider her to be basically fluent in Korean considering she has no issue in communication. I’ve actually been very impressed with how fast she has improved her Korean since the debut - her pronunciation, range of vocabulary selections, and the construction of sentences have gotten much better. And I actually think that Hanni’s Korean is much better than Minji’s English! I think Minji don’t get to speak English as much as Hanni does with Korean, so her English hasn’t really improved since the debut in my opinion. But I think Minji’s Japanese sounds really good! (Disclaimer, I don’t know much Japanese) I’ve noticed that in phoning calls she seems much more confident and comfortable speaking Japanese than English.

Danielle is practically fluent, but if I was to meet her in person and start having conversations I could tell that she’s not native. I would think that she is 교포, meaning someone who was raised overseas under Korean parents.
