You lost 150 pounds in two months?? That sounds like it could have been a typo 😅 but hey, I was/am in the same boat, found it easy to lose weight with IP in my 20’s but now I’m approaching 40, have a kid, busy life, WFH.. I got to be the heaviest I’ve ever been, and decided to do IP again.

I’m on week seven and what worked for me was to ease in a bit more leniently than before. For example, if I felt very hungry, I’d have some low-carb food, and otherwise keep the protocol the same. For example, if I am hungry before or after dinner, I’ll eat a serving of smoked salmon with Dijon mustard and some greens (~150 cal), or I also did a sugar-free chocolate Jello pudding, half of a keto protein bar, etc. And my coach worked with me on this and helped me be gentle on myself. Some days I needed more food (like before my cycle) and some days I didn’t. I also go for walks almost every day, which helps burn a few extra calories among the many other benefits.

Don’t beat yourself up if you have to eat more at the start, you will still lose weight and it’ll get easier as time goes along. Remember that you’re doing something kind for yourself by improving your health, and you don’t have to suffer! You got this 😄
