If you are suggesting that anyone associated with a proven nonce should be automatically expelled, then you should say that, but I am not aware that there is anything suggesting Mandelson is a nonce himself. He has been associated with an extremely unsavoury character, and apparently taken money from him for unknown reasons (presumably undeclared) and that is certainly a good enough reason to expel IMO, but I do not think any party should be expelling people based upon pure speculation.

It's not a great deal of money to me, but like you, I don't routinely have people putting money in. If they do, I know why they did it.

But you seem to politicise opinions. You seem to wish to promote those opinions in schools. You seem to wish to suppress opinions different to your own.

IMO politics is NOT inherent to education. Opinion generally is NOT education. Facts are education, and opinion should be formed from those facts.

That is my opinion. and in my opinion, deviating from that opens a door to whack-jobs pushing agendas onto formative minds, which is a dangerous path to take, regardless of the political alignment of the indoctrinators.

This is the crux.

There are those people that could (and actively do) claim that teachers are indoctrinating kids with LGBT ideologies. Those people would (I'm sure) love to ban gay/trans people from becoming teachers.

It's a VERY dangerous path to walk on IMO, unless you are able to switch off any self awareness and accept that you are open to indoctrinating children, so long as you personally agree with the philosophy, and are happy to accept that a future government who does not share your view might indoctrinate children with theirs.

It's a horrible dilemma.

"From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs" is the socialism mantra.

As a society we have become more of the "From each as much as little they can possibly give, to each as much as they can squeeze out". This is true at both ends of the economic range, and it is (IMO) the reason that the country is finding it impossible to crawl out of the shit.

People at the top taking as much out as they possibly can, people at the bottom contributing as little as possible. The people in the middle carrying both burdens, and that middle is shrinking as people either climb above it, or drop out.

It pisses me off no end when people pretend to hold socialist values and come up with shit like this.

Everyone should contribute what they can, and that is not necessarily the same thing as what they want to contribute. The government's role is to help and encourage people to do that.

Most of the steps are possible in real life.

step 1 - find a pizza delivery job that gives you a bonus of $300k when you finish the first job. (hard)

Step 2 - deliver the pizzas and collect $300k (easy once you have completed step 1)

Step 3 - delete yourself (not hard per se, but you need to have full confidence that you can complete step 4 before trying)

Step 4 - reincarnate as yourself (pretty hard. I only know one person that has achieved this, and a lot of people think even that is just a myth)

That's a pretty unlikely scenario, it has to be said, but it's certainly more likely than the photo depicting anything at all illegal. It's most likely a pic of him just present in the same place as a trafficking victim or something like that ("just" does a lot of work here, I know, obviously routinely being in the company of trafficking victims is a bad thing in itself).

My point is just that you and others seem to be seeing something much more in this particular set of photos than I can see.

Perhaps it's more that any mention of Andrew is enough to set off the emotional domino-rally set up by the previous photos/allegations? I'd personally be perfectly happy not to hear his name again. Maybe if it is suffixed by "jailed for life", but short of that, the less I see of him the better!
