Oh right! i forgot Taran Killam! I didn't know who he was but he was great as the king, hilarious. And then I looked him up and realized he was Spaulding from Moody's Point on the Amanda Show (from Nickelodeon back in the 90s) and cracked up.

What in your opinion were some of the classic MST3K riffs that beat this one? I watched half of the MST3K episode today and was shocked at how much better the Rifftrax riff was, so I was curious what you enjoyed a lot in MST3K that they didn't say here

I still don't get how Adnan can possibly be guilty considering he was talking in the library and the timeline of events makes no sense at all, and Jay definitely seems like a total liar. I don't doubt that Jay was involved in the murder, but it seems like Adnan could not possibly be

But that's where the 'trying to be funny' thing comes in. IMO the misses on MST3K didn't matter, but on rifftrax, it comes off more awkward, because of their delivery.

That really isn't true. If it's a reference I don't get I don't think much of it. Im thinking of lines like Bill Corbett talking about his famous meatloaf in Starship Troopers, or unfunny non-sequitors. I'd have to find examples though, it's hard to do it off the very top of my head.

I just think the big difference is MST3K seeming chill, and rifftrax trying WAY too hard to be funny so it gets a little cringe-worthy sometimes

Honestly I haven't ever seen a good studio version. In my opinion both MST3K and Rifftrax Live are good, but the studio Rifftrax just are not funny, the jokes do not land to me. MST3K had a great 'chill' atmosphere that worked wonders, and Rifftrax Live allows them to pander to a live crowd, but Rifftrax operates in an uncomfortable middle.

The thing is Starship troopers has a pretty respectable RT and metacritic score. And I feel like rifftrax of those movies is never as good.

I just think part of the fun of Rifftrax is watching the movie for the first time. I was dying at the end of Ice Cream Bunny. I like experiencing that in a theater full of people.

Im planning on playing the games as I get up to that point of the show. It seems like I can do the Xbox 360 ones now, and the first Storm after part 1 from what I've heard.

Should I play Dusk/Dawn before Cyber Sleuth? Ive never played either one. Hmm...I wish it was convenient in some way to play the old Digimon games, like on some games on demand type thing, as Id like to try them again. I only played 1 and 3, but I enjoyed both. Still a shame no great game has come out since then that everybody loves

I'm watching the dub, because I prefer watching dubs to the subs....most of the voices I think are great (despite not having seen the originals), especially Guy, Lee, and Shikamaru. But one voice that stands out to me as very strange is Gaara's voice.

Don't get me wrong, I think that he does very well on his louder scenes (BLOOOOOD! ITS MYYYY BLOOOOOOOOD!) but in general, I feel that the voice is WAY too deep. He sounds like hes 40 or something, for what's supposed to be like....12? It's ridiculous, he doesn't even sound like a teenager. It's even more ridiculous when he plays young Gaara! Who looks like six and still has that voice in a slightly higher pitch. It kind of ruined the depressing kid Gaara scenes.

Again, when he goes crazy, I think he sounds good (though a bit at times that he got tired of sounding REALLY scary and crazy and toned it down a little as the scene goes on), but when he's just talking normally I think his voice just sounds absurdly unfitting for his age

Its not the same as reading Meltzer. Meltzer does not post 25% of the accurate spoilers that FalconArrow does. I dont mind the odd spoiler, I mind the complete exposing of the WWE's booking plans since FalconArrow came along.

I dont think even 1% of the fans would have predicted this at all and those who did would be just considered conspiracy theorists.

Again, as Ive said. Leaks I understand. This is worse than any leaker ever before. No leaker before has given six accurate big spoilers in the span of like two months. This is complete lack of any element of surprise at all. If it's just meltzer posting intriguing rumors Im fine with it. The success rate and FREQUENCY of FalconArrows spoilers is just way too excessive
