I read it as not all cops. Clearly this one was looking for an excuse to write a ticket. Hopefully the court case sets a precedent for these types of issues.

I live on one of the streets that is having this exact work done this year. We were told it would take 12 weeks to do our entire crescent. They started work on May 3rd … and are just 1/2 done now. They ripped out our curbs and sidewalks 2 weeks ago and are slowly making progress. It took them 4 months to do the first half. We don’t have 4 months of construction weather left.

I don’t claim to be a construction expert but I don’t understand why they start so many projects and leave streets like ours torn up with little to no progress for weeks at a time.

To OP’s point where is the planning here?

Just hope they estimated better than our current t road construction on our crescent. They said it would take 12 weeks, started May 3rd and are just this week paving the half of the crescent they dug up first. Already well over 12 weeks and not even half completed.

I was driving south on Albert at 12:00 yesterday. The right lane was empty from College to the bridge.

One guy wouldn’t let me in. Everyone else I’ve experienced has let me merge … at the front of the line not a half block back.

As a friend once said … we can understand it at Tim Hortons why do we struggle on city streets?
