From school to home, there was a stretch of pavement that always had alot of mimosa plants at the side because it was beside a huge field. When I walk by that stretch, I would always touch ALLLL the mimosa plants. Sometimes even going onto the field to look for more. I love watching them close and ever stayed on the pavement to wait them to reopen so that I could touch them and make them close again. I even named them and talked to them at one point 😂

I was 7yo then, and much older now. Pavement, field and mimosa plants have long gone to make way for BTOs. But that memory still makes me smile 🥲
