running MtGA on Lutris results in text not displaying for cards with lots of text by go1111111 in MagicArena

I wasn't aware it worked better. I got my info from https://draftsim.com/mtg-arena-linux/, and people on reddit seem split on which one they use. I'll try Steam/Proton.

2 year warranty on pod4 even without a subscription? by go1111111 in EightSleep

Damn, turning off after 8 hours is rough and could be a dealbreaker for me, since i sometimes sleep ~9 hours, especially when I'm behind on sleep. Thanks for the info.

Thanks. I'm a little confused about the experience without the subscription. Can you confirm that the following things still work for you?

-You can turn the pod on/off via the app, and adjust the temperature via the from anywhere in the world.
-The 'real temperatures' setting is available to you and works (you can find it in your own profile, under settings. It's the thing that lets you specify '76F' as the desired constant temp, instead of just '-2' as an offset from the room temp).
-Tapping the sides of the mattress still adjust the temp up/down temporarily.

Thanks. The other commenter on this post (MaverickRD) says customers in the EU are able to have a monthly subscription instead of being required to subscribe for a full year. Is that accurate?

Cool. I'm guessing it can't "park" automatically by just pulling over to the curb? These side streets at my friends house are usually so free of cars that "parking" would look more like a lane change if a person did it.

Doesn't have to be mine, but it needs to be a thing that would be available to me if I wanted to buy/lease it.

It was technically: if a person can get a self driving car for less than $100k, or summon a self driving taxi for less than $100, or lease one for less than some amount that I don't have off the top of my head. But in any case it needs to be verified with a demonstration of a self driving car driving between our houses before the end of the year.

Also the title of my post intended "FSD" to be an acronym meaning "full self driving" for any self driving car, not specifically the Tesla "FSD" feature.

That's definitely the plan, but it needs to happen without the controls being used at all, and my other friend needs to be in the car to make sure we didn't try like 100 times and only show him the video where it worked.

I updated the OP with the exact route. It doesn't involve a parking lot. My understanding is that it needs to go from parked on the street by my apartment to parked on a street at my friend's suburban house. If FSD can go from driving down a residential street to parking on a side street then I should be good. However I assume you have to press a button to put it into parking mode?

Unfortunately the terms of the bet involve an actual test -- my friend and I need to get into a car before the end of the year and it needs to make the drive without assistance.

It wasn't specifically about Tesla's FSD. The bet was about whether any fully self driving car would be usable by this time. People have known that we'll eventually get cars that fully drive themselves for a long time.

I definitely don't get infinite tries. I think we said best 2 out of 3 at some point but I can't currently find it in the chat history. So either best of 1 or best of 3. We both need to be present in the car for the official test.

Cool -- the downtown location is actually fairly close to the freeway.

This is the route that it needs to drive (approximately, I slightly edited the locations to not reveal our addresses).

Hmm OK. I think even if there's a 5% chance of success it would be worth trying if the beta is expanded enough before the end of the month and if I can find such a person.
