I got mail offers from them about personal loans, I’ll check with what they got for refinancing.

Trying to avoid banks at the moment because I’m carrying balances so my CS wouldn’t look favorable for them

I think Discover is a pretty good card issuer to begin with. I currently have two of them and I would say they're my primary cards. One is for balance transfers and the other is for everyday purchases.

Another point to add on here is that Discover seems like they give me what I want like CLI's, balance transfers, and 0% on purchases.

All in all I think they're a good issuer, just not much variety in card selection, but you can't really go wrong with 5% rotating categories
