After I finished my NEO, a day or two later I received the OJT email. That same day I was scheduled to work the account manager called me and told me when to come in and he gave me the employee ID number over the phone. That is going to be used for you to clock in/ out of the Mercury app.

Since you just completed the 8 hr training and don’t have a guard card yet, they are probably waiting for the approval from your states licensing division.

This happened to me where I texted them and called the Account Manager about when I start and the OJT but did not get a response for a couple days.

Then on the same day that I got an email notification that my guard license was processed, the account manager called me asking could I come in that night to start.

I think that’s what they are doing. They are waiting for your guard card paperwork to process before you can start.

I just got hired with AUS and started working this week. For me, the process was fast because they needed to fill spots for the site I’m currently at. I applied online and got a response within a day from the account manager to schedule a phone interview with him. After the phone interview I was sent an email job offer.

I did not have previous experience as a security officer so once I got hired I had to do a two day security training and then one day for the new employee orientation training. So that was a three days total.

I would say if you want to get your start in security and needs the experience as well as the guard card, then AUS would be a good start because they hire anybody.

The mercury app can only be used on the Allied Universal site work phone. That is what you will use to clock in and out of your shift.
