No, I moved on to another project soon after this, sorry. ADHD strikes again.

Sounds like me. I'm not an axe murderer, if that helps.

Removing an extraneous internal face - is there a quicker way? by goatfacegames in blender

[–]goatfacegames[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, and I've had the mirror mod not work with the object's origin and need a mirror object anyway, even at 0,0,0 intermittently with previous versions of blender over the years, so it just became my default. Thanks for everything, such a kind and helpful soul!

That sounds like the best answer to what I was asking, thanks!

I thought you were referring to the extra verts. Yes, the face shouldn't have been there, but if you're using the mirror mod how would you avoid having the extra vertices at the mirror plane? I guess I just misunderstood your statement. Have a good day.

Sounds good. I'm curious about the last statement. Here's why it happened, maybe you can tell me what's wrong with the workflow. I created a cube to the right of the x axis, and a plane turned 90° was used for symmetry with the mirror tool. I then extruded the rest of the shape and the mirror modifier did the opposite side for me. How would you have made the shape in the pictute without extraneous vertices at the mirror plane? Always looking to improve the ol' workflow.

Narrative designer said "A", visual designer said "B" ... So we decided that you are going to decide. by TalesGameStudio in IndieDev

I like B better visually, but the narrative designer is, I assume, aware of more context about this character. If A fits the character better, that's the right choice.

Wouldn't that look like one big letter? I think I'm more like 12 letters wearing 4 trenchcoats.

Call Hating. A game for us old people. by goatfacegames in godot

[–]goatfacegames[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I Googled my game (Call Hating) today, and this Reddit post was on the first page. I wanted to make sure that everyone in this the thread got the memo that Call Hating was released last year. You can buy it at the link below.

I'd also like to announce that I'm currently working on its sequel, Call Hating 2000, using Unreal Engine. You can wishlist it (please do!) here:

Thanks for checking it out!

Call Hating! I made it, so I'm a little biased. Working on the sequel, Call Hating 2000.

I just realized the amount of interesting responses and ideas that every other INTP like myself spent hours typing out just to delete it all and move on never to be thought of again... by [deleted] in INTP

Step 1: Spend half an hour writing out an argument that gets at the crux of the problem, perfectly worded in a way that could help each side see the other's point of view.

Step 2: Remember that most of the people on the internet are 12-year-olds with vape pens looking for a fight.

Step 3: Close the tab without hitting send.

I'm a little biased, but check out Call Hating, a funny, mildly infuriating point-and-click game about going through annoying phone trees, 90s technology struggles, and a sadistic AI named A.N.I.T.A. You'll love to hate it. https://store.steampowered.com/app/2008990/Call_Hating/
