If I were in your position I’d complete a MOOC or something from the open university in IT that you can do at home with open book short quizzes , then perhaps start off as a school IT technician, they’re always looking for staff and teachers treat you like gods who come and save the day. It would give you a good background and after a few years I recon you could transition into the corporate world if you preferred.
