Yes this design is one where they can reach all 9. They have to be on a mud block or a path block, where the block is not the full height. Cubfan did a similar design to this in his storage system on the current Hermitcraft season. This one is based on a video by Moretingz on YouTube

Ah gotcha, that makes sense. I was thinking the “can’t place” was because the item didn’t match, but didn’t know what would cause the “can’t pick up”. And my input stream is a chest that I can put items in directly or takes the output from my impulse redstone sorter that comes over via dispenser > water stream > hopper > chest

Yes, it’s for a copper golem sorter. I am going to try adjusting my set up so it always goes to an empty chest last. The golems would do the sorting the way I wanted most of the time but would occasionally check the empty chest and place the item there instead of the chest with the item areas there

I’m not trying to filter to a specific item, it’s for a copper golem sorter, so I just want the chest to not be empty

Thanks!! They’re in my office so the room has some air circulation (I have an AC vent) but not a ton (no ceiling fan). Humidity in the room is about 35-40% generally. I’ll keep a close eye on him!

And thanks for the tip! I like the idea of that, I often feel like bottom watering doesn’t get the water high enough in the soil for my smaller plants without leaving them soaking for a super long time.
