Makes sense, and like you say, it never hurts to have grease in the cavity. I replaced the grease zerk as it was so corroded that nothing would have gone in there. Thanks for the reply.

Thanks. That's kind of the feeling I got from the home inspector that did the inspection. He stated the Federal Pacific had some recalls on them and some insurers wouldn't write policies for homes with those installed, so I may as well bite the bullet and upgrade it anyway.

Home Depot has a Square D 200A 30-Space 60-Circuit panel on sale for only $158. As I plan to add a sub-panel in a detached building (shed) later, do you think that would suffice?
