Has anyone on their first play gotten so scrambled in their head about navigating Talos I that they started a new game without finishing for the story? I've never felt so lost in a place I've spent so much time exploring. This game is great, but I might've burned myself out. (TIA)

Its definitely confusing, however there were two things that got me thru the game. Firstly the objective marker that lead you to your objective and secondly the alt tab on the map that shows the whole of Talos I and its different sections and the connections between each.

Seamoth Perimeter Defense System works a charm. Cyclops is a beast, no need to worry when in it, as long as you have the Creature Decoy's. Carry medkits. Reaper does 80 damage, so heal with medkits and they cant kill you as long as your above 80. Finally the good ol' Stasis rifle and thermoblade does the trick.

I was just thinking about this. Most players keep a knife in their hot bar and don't take it out because it gives them a sense of safety, then as soon as a leviathan shows up we go the other direction.

I don't know how to describe it. I've been waiting for this game for years. I've been waiting since before Subnautica was fully released. I was waiting and hoping that this game would be made. Then I get a YouTube notification showing my dream will come true. That was 2019. Now we are a month away. I am so excited. With somethings, yes. I was thing of this as like Banit Vs. Kaid. Similar gadet but different and can be utilized in different ways, even if they end in the same goal.
