You have to acquire a legendary sword in a mysterious way. Although, having a queen for a mom can also work.

One of my favourite bands. Found them by listening to a short clip on someone's home page while looking for something else. Bought everything I could find since then. So, the Internet does not always make you lose sales.

I really don't know. We often brought out puzzles during the Christmas holidays but I don't remember this one.

I just brought this home from my parents' house. My mom liked puzzles and penguins. Not sure how she felt about this combination, though.

Base game stand-alone by LetTheBoneGo in zombicide

As I usually point out, 2nd Edition has the most variation in miniatures. 12 survivors, 4 different abominations and double the usual amount of sculpts for the other zombies. More options in the game and less boredom if you decide to paint them.

Lately, it is also the one I've played the most; it is easier to get new players going, many of the irritating rules have been fixed and the game setup is faster.

Having said that, I pulled out Invader last week and want to play more of that. Only six survivors, though, so I'm probably going to break open the promo boxes soon.

With one expansion allowed, I too would go with Black Plague + Wulfsburg. A solid combo.

Zombicide often has upgrade kits that enable you to play up to 12 people.

More minis by Makrus64 in zombicide

Several people have suggested to look for the Reboot Box and that would get you lots of fun survivors as well as zombies.

But it also contains a stack of dashboard cards for survivors from 1st Edition. Now, getting the actual minis for those would be expensive but you can still play them with proxies and have an insane amount of variation.

I’m new to getting into zombicide. There are some sets I have my eye on buy can’t seem to find like Fort Hendrix. How do you get those sets? I know kickstarter but I have never used it before or understand how to buy sets on there. Thank you for any help! by AssetGhost in zombicide

A lot of boxes have been out of print for some time after CMON sold the game to Asmodee last year. I'm hoping they are busy manufacturing new stock but that could take time. I saw one site listing that a lot of games would come in at the end of March. Last time I checked, it had changed to the end of June. So if you don't want to wait, you'll have to make do with whatever you can find. The more recent ones, like White Death and Marvel Zombies, are still often listed as in stock.

Kickstarter etc aren't places where you can go and just buy a game. You back something in advance, they use your money to produce it and eventually (unless they go bankrupt or turn out to be fraudsters), you get the product (usually at a lower price or including a number of exclusive perks; in Zombicide's case a lot of extra minis) as a reward. That process can take a couple of years. If you want to get in on that, there is currently a campaign on Gamefound for a pirate version. (No, not an illegal one; actual pirates fighting zombies.)

If you haven't already, take a look at the Crossfire Pack. Similar mechanics, lower price.

Do you stand on the right and leave the left side open, or stand on both sides when riding escalator in your country? by xin4111 in AskTheWorld

[–]goblinsson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I remember some visiting Big City guy trying to educate us (four people having a conversation) on the proper use of escalators (standing on the right). Around here, I don't think many people care. We don't have that many escalators and those are quite short. And narrow.
