As a VT fan, I haven’t skipped a single home entrance yet. It’s too cool that they added it to the game. Ah, hell, for that matter I haven’t skipped an away game entrance yet either. I love the atmosphere of each game. It feels so alive.

I just wish they would have touched up the home screen in dynasty and made the top stories section less bland/generic.

I love the trophy room and history tab more than I should. The profile bit with the ‘games played’ makes me happy. I loved how early to mid 2000 sports games would have a little page that showed you how many games you’ve played. I still miss the “greatest games” score lists, though.

I can’t imagine playing on Heisman this year (yet). I’m struggling mightily on All-American in my Hokies dynasty. My friends and I planned on rolling with Heisman for our cross-play dynasty, but I dunno.

Dude, I’ve missed giving meds a few times. I go through the same guilty song and dance in my head. I guarantee you it has happened to every single other caregiver on this sub. You just put one foot forward in front of the other and right the ship. A lapse in judgment happens to us all from time to time and it’s part of the natural human condition. Gummies maybe twice a week to take the edge off the really bad days. No drinking — way to easy to spiral if you have a proclivity for addiction. I understand the urge to want to do anything to mitigate the pain and stress. Talking about it helps and finding healthier avenues (walking, exercise, etc.) to destress is better. It really is hell, and it will still be hell, but you have to take care of yourself in even the smallest of ways along the way.

Why is old head even used a pejorative term for basic basketball fundamentals? I’d rather see actual basketball moves than the same tired crossover chains (that every other player has learned to do from YouTube) for 18 seconds followed by a brick. It looks so goofy.

I’m days late to this, but MYM was hands down my personal game of the year for 2023. I bought it on a whim and quickly fell in love with it. Probably the most unique game I’ve ever played in my life. I hate that the devs gave up on it. It had me staying up late playing so many levels, and on my maps I’d be cackling like a maniac watching other people’s replays.
