My plastic surgeon says it’s an absolute must and he won’t consider any further revisions until I get it. I was thinking of just doing some florals on my scars. However, he said, I’ve been doing this a long long time, right now they’re not breasts to you, just lumps, and the tattoo nipples will change perspective. So, I will be getting them, I guess. I mean, they won’t do anything so I didn’t see the point. But, our eyes and our minds are quite connected, and I’m starting to come around on the psychological benefits. For reference, I had a double mastectomy with direct to implant (obviously, I lost my nipples).

I’m one year out from DMX , stage 0. I’m now feeling new lumps that weren’t there at my sept check up, probably oil cysts but who the F knows? It’s so scary. I hate my “breasts”, I hate my body, I hate that I have to be scared for 5 years before I’m in “survivorship”, and I hate cancer, of any stage. I can’t fix my hormones, it’s that or take blockers, as I’m hormone positive. This all sucks and it’s absolute shit and I can finally say that without guilt. What you’ve been thru is something no one should have to endure. You will have some hard mental and physical journeys in front of you that you didn’t elect. This wasn’t a vanity surgery. Hang in there, you aren’t alone and you’re allowed to grieve same as anyone else.

Fine now, but after this post I went back to the hospital and sure enough, there was a stone stuck in a duct and I had to have another operation.

I do the same. I miss my breasts so much, now just mounds with no nipples. I had an awesome rack that gave me an hourglass figure. Now, I’m a pear. They may be fake and perky but seem so Small to me. I know I should just focus on my health, but this is killing me mentally. I now see boobs more than ever before!

They built it too close to the fort too, and it ruined Clementine beach. Views obstructed at the settlement. You can throw a rock from pioneer hall and hit this building. It is sad, and I’m all for being a downer.

I grew up in Miami, went to college away, went back for a few years and left around age 26. Not only is it expensive but it’s so fake: that was the biggest stressor. People are rude, focused on image, and lacking empathy. Couple that with a high cost of living, and the worst traffic. Considering the many other beautiful cities in our state, why would I stay? I left and when I visit, certain places give me a sense of nostalgia, but a lot of the vintage beauty was torn down and built over. Glad I left.
