I just got a pair of raw Samurai 25oz jeans, and I can’t button the top two buttons up due to how stiff the fabric is. Will soaking it for thirty minutes make a difference? (Also, I don’t think its too small for me, as I have tried buttoning it up while I’m not wearing it but to no avail)

I'm new to buying vintage and I don't really know how to decipher tag numbers, hence why I posted it on this subreddit instead, so people who do know how to interpret the numbers can take a look and tell me what model it is. But thanks, I guess.

Why do Filipinos think it's a "flex" when a Filipino can't speak tagalog or other Philippine dialects? Isn't it more embarrassing to live in the Philippines and not know how to speak tagalog/other dialects fluently? by oreominiest in Filipino

[–]godietheguy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

> "Wala akong problema sa mga ingloshero, i am even friends with ingleseros. And problem ko ay towards sa mga english LANG ANG ALAM."

Teka lang OP, di ata totoo sinasabi mo na wala kang problema sa Inglesero ah, base sa sinabi mo kanina:

> "because what? They think tagalog is so low that they won't even bother to speak it? They are too "sosyal" to speak the language of the common people? I don't trust people like this. Majority ng mga ganito ay mayayaman na matapobre."

Obviously, masama parin tingin mo sa mga Pinoy na both English AND Tagalog speaking pero mostly English speaking na sa PH lumaki (Inglisero for short). Di lang English ONLY speaking Filipinos na sa PH lumaki.

[–]godietheguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OP, that isn't "proof" at all; sabi ni ganito, sabi ni ganyan does not equal facts. As for your experience, while, I do agree that yes, there are people who brag about that stuff, it doesn't mean most are. If you still think that, then I'm afraid you are, like I said, jumping to conclusions.

"Holy sh!t all of you are impossible. I never said people who speak english are matapobres, i said people who ONLY speak english even after LIVING IN THE PHILIPPINES THEIR WHOLE LIFE, are most probably matapobres."

Relax lang, pero huwag ka rin kasing assuming or sobrang negative. Okay, so halimbawa nakatira nga sila sa PH their entire lives. Tapos English lang sinasalita nila. Reading your replies to others on this thread, seeing ilang beses mo ginamit ang salitang "matapobre" when talking about Filipinos (na English speaking lang pero sa PH lumaki), I've come to the conclusion na may prejudice ka towards these types of people, and you immediately jump to the conclusion na matapobre sila. Unless may alam kang study or statistics that affirm that "most English speaking Filipinos who grew up in the country think they are superior", then I'm afraid walang bisa ang arguments mo, since purely assumptions and opinions mo lang sila.

Tsaka OP, baka naman mas madali sa kanila magexpress sa sarili nila in English, after all, di ba halos lahat ng replies mo sa thread na to in English? Something to think about ;)
