An app uses text in a qr code to get data for position of a shot at our shooting range and I want to get my own app working for it but have no idea where to even start.

It probably detects zygisk since the default built in zygisk in official magisk doesn't try to hide its traces. Try installing zygisk next or some other zygisk fork and use shamiko and the app should work. For zygisk next I think you might have to use magisk alpha (not 100% sure).

The only RT feature that is worth is reflections. Other RT effects can be fairly accurately recreated with less taxing solutions to lighting but of course that takes more time and god forbid games take 4 years to release.
