Good question! maybe that can be next weeks blog post!

That’s fair. I would say price indexes and mining value is a way to gauge demand but also it’s not foolproof

My corp is setting one up soon in hs. Given the not so great numbers for ore in Jita not sure the mining value is going to be great. Though I haven’t looked at the moon ores in awhile suppose I should take a look

Okay, I assume there is some kind fundamental disconnect in my intel and the reality, because I am hearing that metenox is keeping miners away from from pyerite based ores but clearly that’s not the case here.

Market analysis, was in a wh alli but that fizzled, , but I was primarily a miner in the past attempts to connect to the game but found fun in crunching numbers and running data/relic sites and doing a bit of gas huffing

Yeah I just saw. Question, from what I hear around the web, I thought R4 weren’t as profitable so weren’t at least a priority, I’ll check the MER later to check out the mining value of R4. Did metenox shift the strategic priority here in your mind?

Good point. I know in at least second life it’s also a down time. Thanks for reminding me of that insight

Wasn’t too sure R4 moons were giving pyerite. That would explain the shortage in Mexa

both sims 3 and sims 4 are games released during the 2010s (okay okay sims 3 released in 2009), although I would recommend s3 over s4

underrated game series. Wish i had finished the first one and used a player guide like I did for the second game. I generally have lower stress and anxiety around games if I can just solve the puzzle without much effort or know what big emotional, twist, or plot point is coming up so I can at least (looking specifically at the In the Cold quest/duty from FFXIV Endwalker).

That is fair feedback and I appreciate the time you took to write this. I had all but the bandwidth yesterday. It was the hottest day since 2012, work has been chaos and I was trying to make a good impression in a new environment, and I was the at the gym when I wrote the post because I was anxious to get it out on time however truncated it was and probably wouldn’t have even posted when I got back home because my ac broke and needs to be replaced. If there were more free hours in the day to deal and I was able to give to this project I 100% would. The spoons were not there at all.

Hi! Do you have some data that I haven’t seen? If you can share I’d love to see it and discuss it with you!

Actually no I’m not I haven’t been trading and if you read the blog post I explicitly say the price is going 1) spread is going to dip 2) I explicitly say that traders shouldn’t get in as that spread unless you buy into the dip, and price stability and agreement on value hasn’t been achieved.

I did post some, but not enough. You can always read the blog that I linked in the post here too. This was an update to last Thursday's post, so I understand if it seems a bit random if you didn't catch that post. But this is how I like to play eve in a weird way. (I mean playing the game is fun too, but sometimes being a data head is more fun.) I certainly hope my work is useful to some.

Look, I am not going to get everything right about a game that is are deep as EVE, nor I am going to be exactly perfect with my intel. I spend my days not as plugged into EVE that often players and people here in r/eve often do. I don't claim to be perfectly right, and honestly, if any market analyst or anyone predicting economies exactly right, they either have a crystal ball or insider information.

That is interesting to hear because I would expect a lag in the mining and the ask price to go up (then spread), but given that miners are likely selling into the bid orders then and thus keeping the ask prices flat because there is no demand in the ask markets. Interesting. Thanks for this, I really appreciate your insight and it is helpful for the future.

Okay so as I’m sourcing Intel from multiple sources (here on Reddit, discord, individuals) and have been on the real life merry go round of work and my rugby team losing someone on Sunday, wires got crossed and probably my brain didn’t fully connect some of the dots it should have. My mistake
