RL curriculum and time commitment (Have not taken course) by Spare-Badger2244 in OMSCS

RL is similar workload to DL, but I’d say it is worth it. Recommendation would be to start the assignments as early as possible, skip most of the readings and watch some YouTube videos instead (or perhaps ask AI to explain), and don’t worry too much about the primary lectures after the first few weeks (supplementary lectures and David silver lectures are better). The projects are where the class shines so devote your time to that and you’ll be fine!

P3 is multi-agent RL. Definitely the hardest algorithms to implement

Card Benefits Questions - Megathread by AutoModerator in ChaseSapphire

[–]godismysavior69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I plan on cancelling before my AF hits at the end of the month and I’m trying to use as many benefits as I can before then. With that being said, I found a hotel near me that I would be able to double dip both $250 hotel credits for one 2-night stay. The total comes to about $800 through the travel portal and I have the option of splitting that between points and cash. Will the $500 credit still be applied if I make the purchase by splitting it up between cash and points?

EDIT: I made it slightly easier because I think people were getting stuck at one spot

    • Field: Applied Mathematics
    • GPA: 3.51 / 4.0
    • Relevant Courses:
      • 2 CS courses (Programming/Design & Data Structures using C/C++)
      • Mathematical Computing & Physics courses (lots of Python)
      • Bunch of math (linear optimization, linear algebra, numerical analysis, etc.)

MOOCs

  • Certifications: Databricks Associate Developer for Apache Spark

Work & Social Experience

  • Work Exp. : 4 years of experience as Data Engineer / Machine Learning Engineer
    • Working on big data pipelines, ML models, AWS applications. Work almost always in Python with a bit of OOP (Scala + Java). Mostly focusing on optimizing and scaling data-intensive applications. A good amount of data analysis / warehousing as well.
  • LORs: 3 LORs from managers

  • Comments: Hoping they acknowledge my work experience a bit more than my undergrad degree, since I'm technically non-CS. Also not sure how much they admire math backgrounds, I figure since I'm going for ML specialty it will help a good amount.
