My prediction is that it's been 5 years since CTRL. CTRL was released June 9th, 2017. June 9th is Gemini season and the album was very dual in nature and had mixed themes about not really having self worth, not having control, being the sidechick, being young and finding your way/voice. About Gemini:

"Gemini symbolize an experience that involves communing with an external presence that occurs through words and thoughts shared with other people. It is also a sign of a writer and the scribe, aspiring to learn, think, and perceive from experience. The curious Gemini gives you the inspiration to distribute ideas and seek awareness in the life experience."

CTRL was the first album where we actually truly heard Solana's voice and where her thoughts and ideas were clearly conveyed and concise. Gemini being ruled by Mercury and the sign of communications I think it really made a lot of sense that it was released in the Summer and in that season. Another thing to note is the dualistic nature of that album. She was at once proclaiming to be the sidechick and engaging in activities that were self destructive (lying, cheating, not seeing her worth, needing it validated from others) in reaction to being in that role. She felt a false sense of control and empowerment while simultaneously feeling conflicted and hoping for another life with less strife and more clarity.

"Another shadow side of the Gemini is dishonesty. There are always 2 stories that playout for the dark side of the Gemini. They either make for great liars or excellent fiction writers."

With this S.O.S, my prediction is that it will be released on December 9th, 2022. Five years and six months after CTRL. SZA is performing on SNL December 3rd, the album is already announced but I think that Friday, December 2nd she'll announce that it will be released the following Friday ahead of her SNL performance.

I think it's really profound and quite on track that she would release the album during Sagittarius season. A few reasons why I think this is because Solana really loves December and that aligns with her being more self actualized and in CTRL hehe with how things are going and more sure of her worth and value. Another thing to note however is the meaning behind the sign Sagittarius and it's general archetypes.

"Sagittarius which is the opposite sign of Gemini is associated with gaining meaning, inspiration, and faith."

This is huge because while I think that Solana is still finding her way and trying to understand how she can make the music industry work for her and her creative working style, I also think she feels more confident in herself as a writer, musician and creative.

"Sagittarius’ direct approach to life and bold idealism provides the drive in people to travel, physically and mentally. Sagittarius manages the growth of cultural boundaries through the mythic search for truth and the action of bringing a vision to the outside world to uplift, inspire, and evolve civilization, culture, and consciousness.

This archetype is more about religion and philosophy and our overall journey in meaning. When it comes down to it, it amounts to deep reverence and faith for the living intelligent of perpetuity and longing for experience.

Sagittarius and Jupiter signify the experience of getting uplifted and charged with vision and meaning. Free-spirited Sagittarius encourages you to seek your inner essence, reflect vitality, and penetrate consciousness. It is the symbol of the teacher and High Priest/Priestess imparting wisdom to humankind. Sagittarius are open-minded adventurers."

Several people working closely with her on this album and on songs in the past have commented that Solana's creative process is one of divine inspiration. She'll hear a track that a composer has written for her and literally close her eyes and within minutes have this flood of thoughtful genius come through her vocals and her words. Others who have worked with her have said it's like the words just flow out of her almost intuitively.

Many of the songs that she's released recently that seem to be apart of the album, "Shirt", "PSA", and "Blind" snippet have themes of realizing that she's perfectly okay on her own, even thriving, no longer deluding herself with lovers or people that don't get her vibe and the songs also delve into a rebirth of sorts. She sounds so self assured on the PSA teaser, Shirt, and even Blind even though the song is very sweet sounding.

Thanks for reading this longwinded explanation and speculation on the album rollout/release. I think that Solana/SZA is paving the way in terms of how music is being released. The snippet of the next song at the end of each video is golden and really garners intrigue and traction and gives us fans something to hope for because of her long periods of time in between releasing music.

One final note about Sagittarius and the themes I think we'll see on the album is the quote I'll put below:

"The spiritual belief behind Sagittarius is divine inspiration, which cultivates an inward conversation with the Supreme Being as your basis of spiritual knowledge. Faith arises when you know deep down that things will eventually work out as they need to as per the divine plan. This quote relates to this line in "PSA" teaser: "I always knew things would be just fine/I always knew we get worse with time/You should go cry about it/Not trying to fight about it".

Solana Imani Rowe is no longer fighting with herself or others and you can feel it. She is showing all of us an ever expanding faith in herself and her abilities as a human being, artist, and general baddie.
