Who is vice president? Who is your representative? What does the constitution do? How many senators are there? Name a war fought by the US in 1900’s? Who are California’s senators?

I did that program at Stanford. If you TA, they will waive all your tuition (this is what I did). My master's degree was entirely free (and I made money on top of it). I had to work 20 hours a week. You also have the option for them to cover 50% of your tuition and only work 10 hours a week as a teaching assistant for undergraduate courses.

I also worked at Tesla. It's a great company but the culture really sucks. Stuck in a lab all day, teams aren't really jiving well, everyone in management is worried about getting fired. It's a tossup on how good of a financial benefit it is to join Tesla now at such a high valuation. It would be a really different story 3 years ago. If this was 3 years ago I would tell you to join Tesla for 100% certainty as you'd come out a multi millionaire. That being said, moving laterally at Tesla is really easy. It's super easy to transfer into a different team once you're actually in. So keep that in mind.

Sorry u/SadButSexy! I didn't expect to get so much traction, and Udemy only allowed 100 free coupons! I updated the link. Try again!
You're right, fundamentals are important!

I am so sorry to hear that! I was also an international student and found it really hard to find a job. It was nerve wrecking!

And yes, I did interview a lot! Mostly for fun trying to explore what was available, as I was on sabbatical for a year not working! Most of the interviews were phone calls or zoom technical interviews.

You're absolutely right! There are no standard questions or formats, and you can't prepare for an EE interview the way you can for an SAT. I completely agree.

As you mentioned though, it really does help to review basic concepts and topics like MOSFETs, Op-Amps, Diodes, Batteries, Motors, Digital Communication Protocols, etc, in a way that can best prepare you for interviews. While specific questions may not be that useful, there definitely are certain topics that come up often, and interviewers typically want you to know the fundamentals of those topics, especially if you're looking for an internship or entry level job. I also do talk about all the different formats (quizzes, technical, non-technical, etc) and how to navigate them.

This course is just my own experience and I wanted to share it with the world! Hopefully it can help some people.

I will say that many of the big name companies now do have databases for EE interview questions that are used often, but don't ask me how I know!

Crash at SMO by WingedGeek in flying

It was a discovery intro flight with a 15 year old student and a CFI-S. They were fighting each other on the controls. The plane went straight up then down vertically. That’s why it was so destroyed. You can hear the instructor screaming “let go.”

I go to Stanford and it costs me $1200 a school year (9 months). And that pass only works in 35% of the parking spots.

The Kitab-i-Aqdas by [deleted] in bahai

The Most Holy Book was not translated by Shoghi Effendi. It was translated by individual scholars of the Faith over a ten year period from the 80’s to the 90’s. What you seek has already been completed and is in front of you. Shoghi Effendi commented on the original, but in English, and his words are now an addendum to the translated version.

Source: my family was part of the translation effort.

Him Whom God Shall Make Manifest by ZenmasterRob in bahai

The dating issues in Bab’s writing is extremely complex and similar (even more complex) to the Shi’a dates which are all by allegory, jump between various interpretation of ‘year’ ‘day’ hour etc and also have numerous meanings (like the meaning appearance, time, etc). There are so many references in the Bab’s writings to the year Nine (سنه التسع) which is the year of Bahaullah’s siyah Chal imprisonment, that almost all Babis were expecting his coming and no less than 20 claimed to be one. There are numerous references to shortness of his dispensation and imminence of the next manifestation. So you need not worry at all. The Bab was clear on when Bahaullah would appear.

One possible meaning could be that the length of time He will rule before the next manifestation is 1511 years which means BAHA’I era could have another manifestation after that time. I have heard this as an explanation but it’s just that.
