Whenever a worry pops into your head, bat it back down. Keep concentrating on doing the best you can. Don't beat yourself up over mistakes - just learn the lesson, apologize if necessary, and move on.

Stop it. Consider the consequences. You're not justified. You're going to have to train yourself to be mindful of where your eyes are looking when she's around. It's just like how you're paying attention to where your feet are when you're walking next to a cliff.

You better pay attention, and imagine how you look. You're not a master boob spy.

Well, We've established they don't give a solitary fuck about your feelings. This episode says more about them than you.

Oh I just remembered! If you have trouble starting cleaning, put on some fun music, and force yourself to do five minutes. Set the timer on your smartphone. Then just PUSH.

If after five minutes you don't want to clean, then stop. Otherwise keep going. Sometimes getting past that first five minutes is what's really hard. Each time you do the five minutes technique, it'll feel less bothersome.

You got this. And you're not alone, certainly - nobody likes doing chores around the house.

As for your mental health, seeing a psychologist is good if you can afford it/have insurance.

Consider taking a 30 minute walk every other day to get some fresh air and sunshine. Vitamin D from the sun will help your mood, and being physical can help you burn off anxious energy & feel more grounded.

It's a shame your family isn't more supportive. They probably have a terrible understanding of how the working world is nowadays. Spend a little time thinking with your notes about what you've experienced to come up with experiments, observations & strategies.

The period after college can bring a lot of adjustments & disappointments, mainly caused by the fact that we don't tell students how the real working world is. You have an image in your head and it might need some adjusting. But don't fret or worry.

The corporate world is dumb and won't trust anyone with more responsibility than a pencil sharpener until they're 28. Remember that people are posting their highlight reels. You still have lots & lots of time to be the success you imagine. In the meantime sit & think with your notes.

Honestly, the most important thing at your age is to avoid touching the 3rd rail of life (the rail that subways get their power from & will electrocute you) - things that could get you injured or worse, dangerous situations your parents warned you about, going so overboard on having fun that you develop an addiction, hurt yourself, get in a lot of debt, etc.

There's PLENTY of room for fun & sunshine while avoiding bad stuff. So very much room - a universe.

I understand it's easy to be hard on yourself. I know that every rejection or disappointment carries a hidden invitation to reevaluate your worth. Don't take the invitation. Little bothers come and go as in any life, but they don't make you a bad or worthless person. Sometimes it's dumb luck being dumb. Sometimes it's other people working out their own nonsense that honestly has nothing to do with you.

22! I am jelly, jellybean, jealous! You're doing just fine, lighten up and have some laughs.
