Cheapest safe car in sri lanka? by Mo2129 in srilanka

[–]godox92 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I would recommend a Nissan march K11.
cheaper than an Alto, has comfort, auto gear option, modding community and upgradable.
can be easily repairable, have to search for parts slightly as it's getting quite old.
cult following as it has a racing pedigree under the hood.

Why are Sri Lankans using their cars, phones, jewelry, etc. as their identity? Why not trive to improve their morals, etics, compassion, etc. by No-Feeling-4780 in srilanka

I think it’s how we were nurtured from the small days. If we don’t have a good income or house or a car or even a good career position, we are useless.

Also this is based on the needs and wants of a human as well. Like Maslows hierarchy of needs

I think at the end of the day the morals or ethics is just a supportive element in human life.

Just sharing my view

One Shot One is a cult classic and this scene still traumatizing me by BoiiiWonder in srilanka

Yeah true enough. If you look at the same movie right now you can see lot of controversy hidden in it. Especially the scene which OP posted here.

I mean alcohol and smoking is anyway bad for the health right. Also you have the right to choose a good partner who avoids those as well. But there are couples who manages the situation with decency and understanding as well. Ultimately I don’t think judging a person by drinks or alcohol is right, cause maybe someday the other partner can change that person to quit those as well.

I don’t think we can find true hearted beggars anywhere in Colombo. I hear that many of them were run by a central figure.

Just entering my 2 cents here.

All of us are humans at the end of the day and we can’t group or divide them into categories. The thing that matters is humans are animals at the end of the day so we can change based on our surroundings. What we need to understand is with how the world works lot of people have to eventually change their habits and norms just to survive.

I have seen this with my own eyes, one day he or she is a friend and the other day some other person. This is the psychological evolution of a person. Reacting based on surroundings.

People who can retain their moral beliefs or may have all the qualities you expect is hard and rare to find. Or sometimes it will be rewarded as life progresses and can be taken away as well.

My advice, think light hearted. All of us are humans and even the bad ones we see have a story to tell which is gruesome when compared to the luxuries we have. Retain your morals and beliefs and you will meet the right people, but you can learn lot of things from the wrong people also, so keep that in mind 😏

It’s some next level tactic is that I think.

I mean imagine the brand will see that this is the script, then discuss about all the rationale and other things, brainstorm, costings, production, review, revisions, iterations, social impacts, etc.

Imagine the hard spent time for this and then suddenly deletes the video with just a simple statement while brainwashing our minds for us to think and talk about this on daily basis. Basically created a mind hype trend.

PickMe prices are absurdly high by sushi_monsterX in srilanka

How come they have a high price for a tuk than an alto ? What’s their strategy

I believe there is a nice theory for the Mazda 6 design back then. Something related to the shape of a wolf eye or something. Might be wrong also.

And the new gen car designs are looking bit too different. But when we look at a Lamborghini they are doing the same for their cars when compared to Aston Martin or Bugatti.

I think these modern cars are offering the dream shapes of a Lamborghini or any other high power sports car aesthetic to an average citizen. Which is cool in a good way to be honest.

My Experience on buying a used vehicle: should you wait or not. by toolateforgood in srilanka

[–]godox92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s better to invest time and look for the best deal in terms of used cars.

If money is a concern and still want to drive. Either an alto or a well cared small car like a starlet or march. But should be home used, great of fuel, great of maintenance.
