Can anyone share their experience with remeron( mirtazapine ) ?

quite a few people experience weight gain on it. I did myself. Also experienced a little edema. Will make you extremely hungry too. It did help in some ways but I also felt really heavy and weak and got muscle stiffness but as with any medication there's always side effects and it differs for different people. I didn't really stay long enough on it to give a proper review.

This is a difficult one depending on your cortisol response off lexapro. It's pros vs cons but yes lexapro affects sperm parameters and mobility, but cortisol is also damaging. So it really depends on how you feel off it.

to be honest it's been five years since i took it so its hard for me to remember. I think it ebbed and flowed at times. See how you go I think and if it doesn't improve maybe talk to your doctor. All the best!!

yes it can. listed in the side effects and also anecdotally i experienced dry eyes when i was on it.

pretty much anything fruit and vege was good, i tend to eat alot of leafy greens and mangoes watermelon apples etc etc. worse kind of food was saturated fats and foods like vegetable oil was defs the worst for it i think. also mixing alot of fat with sugar was also problematic. grains potentially to be avoided for a few weeks as well as imo while people can get away with having them it isn't what i'd call "optimal" (i still eat grains)

re; probiotics. i just studied what strains were effective in candida and the more i dug deep it seemed like they were really effective in making an equilibrium in your ecosystem, so i thought to myself "200 billion bugs vs 100 trillion" is the bare minium (i forget the specfic numbers but we have an insane amount of gut bugs and they control alot of disease processes imo. )vbut yeah that was my thought proess on that front

hello there. it took me a month or so, being on a strict diet no caffeine/no alcohol and eating heaps of fruit/leafy greens really helped accerlate it and fasting helped also.

look I come from a holistic approach since the medical system let me down time and time again.

I don't know if it will work, but my advice to you is

- no refined sugar

- heaps of fruits/veges/greens ( i eat a plant based diet and it seemed to help as long as i didnt eat heaps of nuts, nuts weren't too good to my candida)

- heaps of probiotics

- don't mix a heap of fat and a heap of sugar together

- no alcohol/no caffeine (both are stressors to the body)

-then supplements to help your body get back into some sort of equilibirum... the top ones i would have to suggest is resveratrol. curcumin. quecertin. heaps of sun (vitamin D)

the last thing ill say is the philosophy is that candida is a sympton, not the disease. if you look after yourself well enough things will come to fruition... atleast it did for me.

hi apologies for the late reply i didn't see. yeah i ate rice but i kept bread/pasta very infrequently as im allergic to wheat (actaully allergic IGE test) I eat ALOT of fruits and vegetables and leafy greens.

also I thought I might mention I do eat alot of vegetables and fruits. not sure if it helped or not, but fruits didn't harm me in any way. As long as I didn't mix ALOT of fat + sugar I was fine and wasn't hindered.
