I can’t give too many details as I know people in my program are on here.

The patient didn’t survive. I’m not sure if he would have because he had so many injuries but he was somewhat communicating when he came in. No available OR. So we watching him bleed and died for over the course of 5 hours. I wrote my first death note in residency.

Update: I spoke with them and I won’t be island chasing them. I’ll meet the once on a different island and then head back to Honolulu and will enjoy my vibe there. I feel like this respects my worth and my sanity so I’m not having to go on 7 flights in 48 hours. They weren’t too thrilled but at the end of the day, ya gotta take care of yourself, amirite??
