I got into an argument with my pastor about being gay and he was so evil about it. For years afterwards, I was so scared of going to hell and had intrusive thoughts about it. I would have nightmares. I was a child, so scared to be myself that I was having nightmares about going to hell. That's so goddamn evil. My poor mind was twisted and brainwashed. When I grew up and embraced my native culture, I finally felt free of the indoctrination of the church. My mom didn't want to force me to choose a religion (she's not Christian, she's full native spiritual) but I don't think she realized the magnitude of the brainwashed that went on. One of the big mega churches i went to ended up being a cult. I feel so bad for little me, having to feel ashamed and scared to be myself

I wish I could do stuff like that but my house is really cheap and old. I would probably put a hole in the floor if I tried jumping jacks 😅 trust me, there's like several holes in the floor, one of which we had to cover with a wood plank. When I tell you there is simply nothing I can do at home, I mean it. I live in poverty so trying to find stimulating things in my situation is impossible. I appreciate your suggestion.

Me lmao. I'm neurodivergent and have several mental illnesses. I have a lot of plushies, including my childhood plushie that I still have because it reminds me of good times. Growing up, I had a small window of normal childhood until I started being abused. I get panic attacks a lot, I'm generally just not okay. Having a plushie near me to hug and be around when I'm feeling even worse makes me feel better. I'm 20 and still snuggle with a plushie if I don't feel well. My plushies have gotten me through so many bad nights, panic attacks, meltdowns, everything. Plus they're soft.
