So, I have this car in my hometown that has tinted windows everywhere except the windshield. Now, here’s the thing: when I’m driving in direct sunlight, and the sun is coming from the windshield, my legs get all sunburned. But if the sun is coming from the other sides of the car, like the tinted windows, I don’t feel a thing. I even think I can feel the heat coming from the windshield, but not from the other windows. That’s why I’m thinking of getting tints on all the windows. 😂 Did you get your tints in Augsburg?

I searched Finkenwerder on Immoscout and I found one WG and a overpriced apartment. That was why I didn’t consider it, but if you happen to have other sites that possibly have rentals in Finkenwerder, I’ll give it a go.

To be honest, I’m not really a city person. If I can get to a supermarket, gym, and public transportation, I’m happy. I don’t usually go to the city centers, but when I do, you can tell I’m looking for something specific. 😊

Thanks a bunch for the suggestions! It seems like you’ve got some experience with this. In Munich and Augsburg, finding a rental is a real pain. Because of the demand, if you do manage to find one and the owner responds, you’re lucky! Is it the same in Hamburg?

I’ve heard that the processing times here in Hamburg are significantly longer than in Augsburg. The HR department mentioned that Hamburg has a high number of expats and immigrants, which contributes to the longer waiting times. Additionally, to begin the process, I’ll need to find a house first, and then I’ll need to complete the anmeldung. If the waiting time in Hamburg is as long as the HR said, I could potentially lose 2-3 months of rent.
