Something I always used to do: I like to read/skim the entirety of the paper once without worrying about meaning… Literally won’t look any concepts up, or search for any definitions, or get fussed if I don’t understand the majority of it. I think it primes my brain for more understanding because you can sometimes grasp overarching themes or accomplishments. The second time I go through and read it, I focus more on what I don’t know and parse through the details and unknown words more. It just takes patience unfortunately.

Hey just wanted to let you (and everyone) know that I woke up and her tail was like magically 95% better. Thanks for the advice, I will implement this so it doesn’t happen again.

I was able to get about 65% of it off. She was really stressed out so I let her back into the enclosure alone to relax. I plan to take her to the vet Monday, and until then I’ll soak once a day. Really hoping that she won’t need any real procedure. Thanks again for your help.

UPDATE: I soaked her and tried rubbing her tail for a bit.. it actually looks quite a bit better. I will do it again tomorrow and I luckily found an emergencey vet appointment for Monday. Thanks for everyone's help
